Petite histoire sur la maison Lemberg  ( 1925-1996 )
La Cristallerie de Lemberg a été fondée en 1925 par Théodore Heitzman. Ce dernier, boulanger pour la cristallerie voisine de Saint Louis perd une grande partie de son chiffre d’affaire suite à la création d’une boulangerie propre à l’usine. Il décide alors de créer la Cristallerie Lorraine (Cristallerie de Lemberg).
Il embaucha vingt ouvriers, la plupart d’entre eux étaient des verriers de la Cristallerie de Saint Louis. Grâce à eux, il réussissait à fabriquer du « Cristal haut de gamme » (24 à 30 % teneur en plomb), à savoir un cristal d’une excellente qualité.

A short story about the Lemberg house ( 1925-1996 )
The Lemberg Crystal Gallery was founded in 1925 by Theodore Heitzman. The latter, a baker for the neighboring crystal factory of Saint Louis, loses a large part of his turnover following the creation of a bakery specific to the factory. He then decided to create the Cristallerie Lorraine (Cristallerie de Lemberg).
He hired twenty workers, most of them were glassmakers of the Cristallerie de Saint Louis. Thanks to them, he managed to make "high-end crystal" (24 to 30% lead content), i.e. a crystal of excellent quality.
